Frequently asked questions.
What is telehealth?
Telehealth is a way to receive mental health treatment from the comfort of your home. Studies have shown that telehealth can be as effective as in person treatment.
I do provide limited in person sessions in Denver, Colorado through Peak Interactive Wellness.
Who do you serve?
This is a practice for the state of Colorado and California, where my license is active. I work with mainly women in their perinatal, postpartum, motherhood stage and couples seeking to strengthen their relationship. I also see men depending on their therapeutic needs.
How long are sessions?
The initial intake will be 60 minutes and the regular therapy sessions are 50 minutes for individuals; 90 minutes intake for couples and regular follow ups are 75-90 minutes.
Do you accept insurance?
I currently accept some insurances through Headway under a group practice I work with called Peak Interactive Wellness. Please visit https://peakinteractivewellness.com/ for more information
Things you do not treat or do in your practice?
If you have significant suicidal ideation or have a history of significant self-harm and suicide attempts, this practice may not be the best support for you. You may need a local in person therapist to support and also have access to higher levels of care. I also do not work with significant alcohol and substance use disorders. I do not provide court documentation or letters unless they are just for attendance.
